Former Bungoma East Mp murdered, eyes gouged out

Former Bungoma East Member of Parliament Mark Barasa has been found dead after being murdered by mysterious people in Tongaren, Bungoma County.

The 99-year-old octogenarian was the first Bungoma East MP who served between 1963 and 1969.

According to police reports, his body body was partially burned with acid and had the eyes, tongue, and left hand missing.

His family has told police that they had searched for him in all places and even announced in the media with the hope of finding him since they thought he had lost his memory and had gotten lost as he was unable going home.

Barasa was married to four wives and had 27 children. 

His body has been taken to Cherengany Nursing Home Mortuary as investigations kick off.
