Residents of Kari village in Kahuro Murang’a are reeling in shock after the body of a man was found dangling from a tree at his farm. Charles Moko’s body had a knife stuck in his chest and his penis and testicles were completely severed off.
His body was spotted by his brother Simon Mburu who was going to the toilet at night. A panga and a few personal items were also found on the ground.
He says it is not clear whether Moko is the one who took away his life or someone else did and hanged his body on the tree.
“We are hoping the police will do the investigations and unravel what could have transpired leading to his death,” he said.
