Police in Kasarani are searching for a 17-year-old boy who stabbed his friend and left him for dead because of differences that arose between them because of football matches that were played during the weekend in the English Premier League.

Pauline Oduor who is a resident of Mariru Park was in Kiambu when her neighbours called to inform her that her 17-year-old son had been stabbed by his friend who is also his age mate on the throat, back and both legs.

The victim was rushed to the Uhai Neema Hospital along Thika road where he is currently admitted but in stable condition. The incident was reported at the Mwiki Police Station and a manhunt has been launched for the suspect who has since escaped from home.
