Ex-Gor Mahia midfielder collapses, dies in the middle of a game

Former Gor Mahia midfielder Raphael Asudi has unfortunately passed away after collapsing during a friendly match between Donholm Seniors and Thika Vitambi FC.

The incident which happened today at Thika Stadium, left those on the field and in the stands in disbelief. Players, teammates and opponents alike rushed to administer medical assistance when he collapsed.

The cause of death is yet to be established.

The 27-year-old midfielder once played for Major Kenya Premier League clubs such as Gor Mahia, Sofapaka, Nairobi Stima, Posta Rangers, and Bidco United.
