Kenyan musician Nyota Ndogo and her Dutch husband Henning Nielsen are expecting their first child together.
The Taarab singer, 42 announced that she is pregnant by uploading her photo while holding her pump. She however didn’t caption the photo. This will be the couple’s first child together, coming 7 years after they got married.
In a past interview, the singer said she has always had problems getting pregnant and that if it was up to her, she would have given birth every year.
Nyota Ndogo already has two kids from a previous relationship.
“We talked about having children, he said we have five of them, we don’t need another one. By five children, he meant my daughter and son, and his own three children. He then argued that he is an adult, with grandchildren. He said, ‘I want when I retire and come to Kenya, we travel all over the world, and not baby sitting.”
