Renowned Kenyan music producer, Magix Enga, has reached out to President William Ruto for support in the face of mounting challenges.
Magix revealed his current struggle after his music studio was shut down due to rent arrears, leaving him without a job.
In a heartfelt plea, he addressed President Ruto, saying, “Currently I don’t have a job. Our President, Dr. William Samoei Ruto, I urge you to please help me in whatever support you can, starting from the music industry to my colleagues. My number is 0704872170.”
Despite his hardships, Magix Enga remains confident in his talent, boldly proclaiming, “Magix Enga, the most talented beat King in Africa and the rest of the world.”
He expressed frustration over not benefiting from many of the hit songs he’s produced, including tracks like ‘Dundaing,’ ‘Watoto na Pombe’ by Otile Brown ft. Enga, ‘Maja,’ ‘Mapenzi Hisia,’ and more.
With a one-month-old son to care for, Magix finds himself in a challenging position, uncertain about what the future holds.
He highlighted instances where his work, like the Gengetone beats and songs like ‘Mamiondoko’ and ‘Digidigi’ by Arrow Boy, gained significant popularity, but he hasn’t received the compensation he deserves.
