Uganda’s Senior Presidential Advisor for Special Operations, Gen Muhoozi Kainerugaba had a meeting with Jamaican music sensation Garfield Spence, popularly known as Konshens in Entebbe.

During the meeting with Gen. Kainerugaba held on Monday, December 18, reports show that they discussed various opportunities for collaboration between the Jamaican and Ugandan music industries.

After the meeting, MK Movement News posted on X: “After the mega concert Blankets and Wine, today evening the Jamaican superstar Konshens before going to Entebbe Airport made a courtesy call to Gen. Muhoozi Kainerugaba and discussed strengthening the connection between two musical industries.”

Konshens, real name Garfield Spence, was in Uganda to headline the Blankets And Wine Festival on Sunday, December 17. The 38-year-old put on a great show for revelers who flocked to Lugogo Cricket Oval in large numbers.

Aside from him, the other performers were Jose Chameleone, DJ Etania Mutoni, Viana Indi, Vinka, and Elijah Kitaka among others.
