Brian Mwenda Njagi , who is accused of posing as a lawyer, has been directed to appear at the Muthaiga police station by Tuesday noon in compliance with an arrest warrant issued by the Makadara Law courts.

High Court Judge Nixon Sifuna rejected the request to quash the arrest warrant, instructing Mwenda to present himself before the Officer Commanding Station (OCS) in Muthaiga by 12:30 pm.

This is to facilitate his arrest and subsequent court appearance for plea taking on Wednesday.

The judge emphasized that failure to comply would empower any police officer or member of the public to arrest Mwenda and bring him to the nearest police station.

The warrant of arrest was initially issued by the Makadara law courts after Mwenda failed to appear for plea-taking.

The alleged imposter was brought to court on October 18, 2023, facing six charges, including uttering a false document, creating a false document, and presenting a false practicing certificate.

During his initial appearance before Nairobi Chief Magistrate Lukas Onyina, Mwenda pleaded not guilty to all charges.
