A family residing in the Chamgiwadu area in Rongo, Migori County, is grappling with anxiety and uncertainty as they search for a missing toddler, a 3-year-old named Shantel Kevin.

George Oloo, the grandfather, reported that Shantel went missing last Thursday, and despite their efforts, they have been unable to locate her.

According to Oloo, some of the children playing with Shantel mentioned that an unidentified woman took her away.

Efforts to trace the whereabouts of the woman and the missing girl have so far been unsuccessful.

Oloo revealed that Shantel was rescued three years ago when her mother abandoned her near his home shortly after birth. Since then, the child has been under the care of her father and other family members.

The family has reported the case to both the Chamgiwadu police post and Migori police station as they intensify their search for the missing toddler.

The community remains on alert as they hope for a swift and safe reunion with Shantel Kevin.
