Safaricom has once again cemented its position as a leader in employee experience, earning the coveted title of Kenya’s top employer for the third consecutive year.

This prestigious recognition comes from the renowned Top Employers Institute (TEI), who lauded Safaricom’s commitment to exceptional human resource practices and people-centric policies.

TEI’s rigorous evaluation delves deep into critical HR domains, scrutinizing the company’s approach to people strategy, work environment, talent acquisition, learning and development, diversity and inclusion, and employee well-being.

With stringent standards applied across 122 countries and five continents, only the most exceptional employers like Safaricom earn this coveted distinction.

“This award is a validation of the strong employer brand that Safaricom has created over the years,” beamed Peter Ndegwa, CEO of Safaricom PLC.

He attributes this success to their focus on fostering an agile working environment that empowers employees to thrive and numerous opportunities for professional growth and development.

Safaricom’s dedication to its workforce extends beyond national borders. In November 2023, Forbes ranked them as the 3rd best employer in Africa, further solidifying their commitment to fostering a world-class employee experience.
