Popular journalist Doreen Majala has reunited with her former husband Gideon Mulyungi, the current Member of Parliament for Mwingi Central.

The former TV siren separated with her husband, the MP, in 2018 amid claims of domestic violence. Majala has also in several interviews lamented how she left her Karen home with just a handbag after being assaulted at night.

However, last weekend, the two celebrated their wedding anniversary implying that white flags have been hoitsed. The famous couple also hosted a party to celebrate the special occasion according to reports.

Doreen Majala and her husband have been married on and off for the last seven years.

The two dated for several years before they decided to get married. They have however experienced several challenges in their marriage but also managed to stick together.

The member of parliament and his wife separated several years ago after experiencing a ‘domestic’ conflict.

They lived apart for more than two years after a much publicised separation. However, about eight months ago, the two reconciled and started living together at their home.

Doreen Majala is a talented journalist who has worked for major media houses including the Nation Media Group. She started her journalism career at an early age and worked her way through several media stations during her long and successful career.

She has attributed her successful career to hard work and determination.

Gideon Mulyungi is currently serving as the member of parliament for Mwingi Central constituency. He is also currently serving his third term in parliament and is a close ally of Wiper party leader Kalonzo Musyoka.
