During an interview at the E360 Awards, Dj Fatxo candidly discussed how the Jeff Mwathi case impacted his career and his journey to overcoming adversity with the support of friends.
“It really did affect me… But a man always falls many times, but it takes a real one to rise up again. How did I make it through? I don’t know; all I know is that I made it,” Dj Fatxo shared with the press.
Despite the challenges he faced, Dj Fatxo emphasized that he has persevered and nobody can tarnish his name or bring him down. He asserted that he has seen it all and unless he decides to falter himself, nothing can shake him.
Closing the interview, Dj Fatxo imparted words of wisdom to the public, urging them to fear God and not allow worldly matters to defeat them. “Ogopa Mungu kuna vita zingine zenye siza binadamu…marafiki watakutoka…familia watakutoka kila mtu anaeza kutoka. But wewe kama heart yako iko clean na concious yako ni clean na heaven inakuangalia. We ogopa tuh mungu hizo zingine ni by the way,” he said.
The case involving Dj Fatxo and the tragic death of Jeff Mwathi last year was a challenging time for him. However, after a thorough investigation by DCI detectives, Dj Fatxo was proven innocent and was acquitted of all charges.
