Following the postponement of Joseph Irungu, also known as Jowie, sentencing for the murder of Nairobi businesswoman Monica Kimani by Lady Justice Grace Nzioka, Jowie’s song titled “I Believe” premiered on YouTube.

The song, which draws inspiration from the Bible verse Psalm 56:3 KJV, was released at noon on Friday.

In her judgment, Lady Justice Grace Nzioka stated that the prosecution had presented sufficient evidence, meeting the required threshold. After considering testimonies from 35 prosecution witnesses, the court concluded that Jowie was responsible for Monica Kimani’s murder.

During the court proceedings, Jowie was accompanied by former TV personality Jacque Maribe, who has since been acquitted of the murder charge by Justice Grace Nzioka.
