A Kenya Airways (KQ) plane, flight KQ654, which departed Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA) at 8:42 AM on Tuesday morning en route to Kisumu, was forced to return to Nairobi due to an operational emergency.
Footage from Flight Radar shows the aircraft making multiple circles over Ngong before heading back to JKIA.
The flight was originally scheduled to land in Kisumu at 9:25 AM. The nature of the emergency has not yet been disclosed.
