A family in Keiyo North, Elgeyo Marakwet County, is mourning the tragic death of their kin, Abraham Kipruto, a Junior Secondary School (JSS) teacher at Cheptarit Primary School.

According to a source who spoke to TUKO.co.ke, Kipruto had taken a KSh 900,000 bank loan but ended up losing the entire amount through betting. The source revealed that he initially experienced some small wins, which encouraged him to continue betting. Unfortunately, he ultimately lost the full amount.

“He had received his loan and was betting with the money in bits. He won at first but kept going until he eventually lost the entire amount,” the source stated.

Disturbing Final Moments Before His Death

Before his disappearance, Kipruto sent an emotional message to his wife, asking her to take care of their child and expressing his love for her. Concerned about his distressing words, his wife alerted family members, who immediately began searching for him. Sadly, he was later found dead.

His sudden passing has left his family and the community in shock, highlighting the dangers of gambling addiction and its devastating consequences.
