Kenyan comedian Mulamwah has finally opened up about the intense drama surrounding his failed relationship with fellow content creator Ruth K, denying allegations that he sent explicit material to her father.
In a series of revelations posted on his YouTube channel, Mulamwah addressed the viral claims, saying the two had already broken up long before publicly announcing it. According to the comedian, their supposed relationship in recent months was simply for content creation purposes.
“We were not even living in the same house,” he revealed. “We were pushing a narrative online, but in real life, things were already over.”
The controversy took a dark turn after Ruth K shared a screenshot on Instagram, showing her pleading with her father for forgiveness. She alleged that Mulamwah had sent him private videos, leading to a breakdown in communication.
“Since that day, he’s never spoken to me again,” Ruth wrote in the emotional post.
However, Mulamwah strongly denied these accusations. He claimed that he never shared anything inappropriate with Ruth’s father, instead admitting he changed a contact name on his phone to mimic Ruth’s dad and then sent a Bible verse to it. He later posted a screenshot of this interaction online, fully aware it would go viral.
“I didn’t send him anything. People shouldn’t believe everything they see on social media,” he clarified.
Mulamwah also spoke about a family meeting held in Eldoret days before his Let Me Explain comedy special, where both families allegedly discussed reconciliation efforts. He claimed Ruth promised to return home and attend the show—but she never did.
“How can you sit down for five, six hours with families and agree, only for someone to walk away and do the opposite? That’s not fair,” he lamented.
The drama continues to stir reactions online. Mulamwah insists that while mistakes were made on both sides, the truth has been distorted for clout.
