A woman has been arrested in Narok County after her ex-boyfriend, Timothy Karori Wanjahi, 30, was stabbed and later died from his injuries following a violent domestic altercation.

The incident occurred on Monday, June 30, 2025, in Ololulunga, Narok South Sub-county. According to police, Karori was taken to Ololulunga Sub-County Hospital by his former girlfriend while unconscious, but was declared dead on arrival.

“The body had two visible stab wounds—one at the back of the head and another on the left arm,” police confirmed.

Initial investigations indicate that Karori had gone to his ex-girlfriend’s house, where a heated argument escalated into a physical fight. Neighbours told police they heard shouting and a struggle shortly before the man was found injured.

The woman later rushed him to hospital, allegedly in an attempt to help, but he succumbed to his injuries.

She was immediately arrested and is now being held by the police to assist with investigations.

“The suspect claims the deceased arrived at her house already bleeding and injured, but we are treating this case as suspected murder while we verify the sequence of events,” said an officer involved in the case.

The deceased’s body was moved to the Narok County Referral Hospital mortuary where it will undergo a post-mortem examination to establish the exact cause of death.
