Kakamega Deputy Governor Ayub Savula has launched a scathing attack on Lugari Member of Parliament Nabii Nabwera, accusing him of exploiting female school administrators through intimidation and political influence.
In a fiery speech that has since gone viral, Savula alleged that the legislator preys on female headteachers and threatens them with punitive transfers if they reject his advances.
“Refuse and You’re Transferred”
The Deputy Governor shocked the crowd with his blunt remarks:
“Headmistress akikataa kulala na yeye anakua transferred,” Savula claimed, suggesting a systemic abuse of power in Lugari Constituency schools.
Savula contrasted Nabwera’s tenure with his own, boasting that academic performance in the constituency was stronger when he served as MP compared to what he described as “declining standards” under Nabwera’s leadership.
A Pattern of Controversy
This is not the first time MP Nabii Nabwera has been linked to scandal. The outspoken lawmaker, known for openly embracing polygamy, has frequently made headlines for his private life.
Recently, his wife publicly blasted him on social media after accusing him of snatching his nephew’s fiancée.
Public Debate
Savula’s explosive allegations have triggered a heated debate online, with Kenyans questioning the culture of impunity among some political leaders.
