Detectives in Homa Bay County have launched investigations into the murder of a 37-year-old man, whose body was discovered lying by the roadside in Rangwe on Monday morning.
The victim, identified as Jared Adeng, was found with a severe head injury, according to preliminary police reports.
Authorities said the motive behind the killing remains unclear, but investigators have begun collecting statements from locals who were at the scene.
The body has been moved to the Homa Bay County Referral Hospital mortuary for a post-mortem examination as part of ongoing investigations.
Police have assured residents that a full probe is underway to determine those responsible for the October 13, 2025, incident.
