Detectives have launched investigations into the brutal murder of a 45-year-old man whose body was discovered outside his home in Nangili area, Likuyani Sub-County, Kakamega County.

The deceased was identified as Hassan Mauliti.

According to police, Mauliti’s body bore visible injuries to the head and other parts of the body, including his hands, indicating he may have been attacked violently before his death.

The circumstances surrounding the killing remain unclear, with officers suspecting foul play. Neighbours reportedly alerted authorities after discovering the lifeless body outside the residence.

Police officers visited the scene and commenced investigations as the body was transferred to a mortuary, where a postmortem examination is expected to establish the exact cause of death.

Detectives are now pursuing leads to determine the motive behind the killing and identify those responsible.
