Residents of Kyamukwa in Kalawa, Mbooni East, Makueni County, were left in shock after a man killed his wife by stabbing her multiple times before taking his own life in a chilling murder–suicide.
Mbooni East Police Commander Iphrahim Karani confirmed the incident, revealing that the couple had been grappling with ongoing domestic disputes before the tragedy unfolded.
Karani urged families to seek help and explore peaceful avenues when resolving conflicts, warning that unresolved disputes continue to fuel rising cases of domestic violence across the country.
The bodies of the man and his wife were transported to the Kalawa Hospital mortuary as detectives kick off investigations to establish the circumstances leading to the deadly incident.
