Detectives in Narok County are investigating the mysterious death of a 25-year-old woman whose body was found hanging from a tree in Olmesuti village. Police believe the victim, identified as Neema Kaipat, may have been killed before being staged to look like a suicide.

According to a police report, Kaipat’s body was discovered on November 29 with a stab wound to the chest, raising immediate suspicion of foul play. Officers at the scene also recovered a kitchen knife and a blood-stained solar lamp, both believed to be linked to the crime.

The motive behind the killing has not yet been established, and no arrests had been made by Monday, authorities said. Detectives indicated they are following several leads as the homicide investigation continues.

Kaipat’s body was moved to a local mortuary pending a postmortem examination and further forensic analysis.
