TikToker and content creator Sheryl Gabriella has clarified the ownership status of the popular Subaru Forester she is often seen driving, following widespread speculation about whether she bought the vehicle herself.
In an interview with Nicholas Kioko on Saturday, November 29, 2025, Sheryl confirmed that although she drives the SUV daily and keeps it at her home, the car does not belong to her. She explained that the Subaru belongs to a friend who currently lives abroad.
“The Subaru Forester—I still have it, and I still drive it. For those asking whether the car is mine or who owns it, I won’t disclose all the details, but I can say that I’m the one who drives it, and it stays in my compound every day,” she said.
Sheryl added that she is responsible for the vehicle’s day-to-day upkeep.
“The car is not mine; I just live with it and take care of it. I am the one who fuels it and manages it daily. The owner is a good friend of mine who lives abroad and is currently not using the car,” she explained.
The influencer also addressed rumours linking the vehicle to someone she may be dating. She dismissed the claims, insisting the Subaru has nothing to do with her romantic life.
“The car belongs to someone, but it is not linked to anyone I am dating. I don’t want to go into how I was allowed to stay with the car, because explaining it could create problems later. So while I drive it and it is with me, ownership remains with someone else, and I won’t disclose further details about them,” she added.
