Former nominated Senator Millicent Omanga has unveiled her newest business venture, a high-end whisky lounge named Whisky Hub, in the upscale Masaki neighbourhood of Dar es Salaam.
The lounge, located along Chole Road, was launched on Friday night during a glamorous, invitation-only event attended by prominent business leaders, musicians, and socialites from both Kenya and Tanzania.
Omanga, who has recently shifted her focus to entrepreneurship, said the project cost over KSh 120 million, featuring a premium whisky collection, a rooftop VIP deck, and live entertainment areas.
“This is just the beginning. Tanzania has welcomed me warmly, and I plan to open more branches across East Africa soon,” she said during the ribbon-cutting ceremony.
The opening marks Omanga’s bold entry into Tanzania’s competitive hospitality and nightlife industry.
