A woman claiming to be a long-time friend of a female Kiambu Member of Parliament has sparked online debate after making sensational allegations about the lawmaker’s past marriage during a TikTok Live session.

In the live broadcast, the woman alleged that the MP’s marriage to a former Member of Parliament ended after accusations of infidelity. According to her claims, the former MP—who she said had married the Kiambu MP as a third wife—later divorced her after allegedly finding her with another man in their matrimonial home.

She further claimed that during the marriage, the former MP provided the lawmaker with an affluent lifestyle, including allegedly gifting her a Mercedes-Benz, before the relationship ultimately collapsed.

During the same live session, the woman also made unsubstantiated allegations linking the MP to alleged witchcraft practices, claims that have not been supported by any evidence.

The allegations, which remain unverified, have generated heated reactions on social media, with some users calling for restraint and respect for privacy, while others demanded clarification from those involved.

As of now, the Kiambu MP and the former lawmaker mentioned have not publicly responded to the claims.
