Man Dies After Fight With Brother at Bar in Yatta, Machakos County

A fight between two brothers turned tragic after one of them died following a punch to the head during an altercation at a bar in Yatta, Machakos County.

The incident occurred in the early hours of Sunday when the two were drinking at a local joint before an argument broke out.

Victim Succumbs to Head Injury

Police identified the deceased as Dennis Mwanzia Wambua, 26.

Witnesses said the argument escalated, and Wambua was struck in the head with a fist during the confrontation.

He later complained of severe pain and said he had been injured. He was rushed to a nearby hospital but was pronounced dead on arrival.

Suspect Arrested

The other brother was later arrested and is currently being held for interrogation pending arraignment in court.

Police have launched investigations into the incident as they seek to establish the circumstances that led to the fatal fight.
