Detectives in Gatanga are investigating the death of a 32-year-old woman whose body was discovered in a house under suspicious circumstances.
Police reported that the incident occurred on February 23, 2026, and investigators are looking into whether the woman was assaulted before her death. The body was found half-naked in Gatura village, with visible injuries on the forehead and blood stains on her jumper.
Authorities also noted human feces scattered at the scene, and a female pant was found a short distance away. The body has since been moved to the mortuary pending an autopsy, while police continue their investigation into the suspected murder.
The investigation is ongoing as detectives work to establish the circumstances surrounding the woman’s death.
