A 69-year-old man was brutally killed by a mob in a suspected case of vigilante justice in West Pokot County.
Mob Attack in Temow Village
The victim, identified as John Pkerket Toywalima, was attacked at his home in Temow Village, Sekker Ward after being accused of practicing witchcraft.
According to police reports, a group of about 20 men stormed his homestead, forcibly abducted him, and subjected him to a violent assault.
Brutal Killing
Authorities say the attackers beat him before hanging him with a rope, leading to his death.

Officers from Marich Police Station, alongside detectives from the Directorate of Criminal Investigations in Pokot Central, have launched investigations into the killing.
