Lang’ata Member of Parliament and media personality Jalang’o has finally addressed the much-discussed United Kingdom trip that had been planned for popular digital content creators Kevin Masagara and Useful Idioty.
Speaking during a live broadcast, Jalang’o clarified that the highly anticipated trip was cancelled due to logistical challenges related to securing matchday tickets for English Premier League fixtures.
According to the MP, the creators were expected to travel to the United Kingdom to experience top-flight English football and watch live matches at two of the country’s most iconic stadiums, Old Trafford and the Emirates Stadium.
However, despite preparations for the trip, the team was unable to obtain the necessary tickets required for entry into the matches.
Jalang’o revealed that he was also scheduled to be part of the trip but the plans had to be shelved after efforts to secure stadium access proved unsuccessful.
“The challenge was getting the match tickets. Without confirmed access to the games, it became impossible to proceed with the trip as planned,” he explained.
The clarification comes after weeks of speculation on social media, with many followers questioning what had happened to the promised travel opportunity for the two content creators.
Kevin Masagara and Useful Idioty have built a strong online following through their entertaining and engaging digital content, earning support from thousands of fans across Kenya.
Jalang’o’s statement has now put to rest rumours surrounding the trip and provided an official explanation for why the football experience in the United Kingdom never happened.
The revelation has sparked fresh reactions online, with many fans expressing hope that another opportunity will be arranged in the future for the creators to fulfil their dream of watching live Premier League action.
