A man from Roysambu in Nairobi is seeking help after claiming that several valuable household items disappeared from his home following a late-night visit by a woman he identified as Ifra Olang.

According to his account, the evening began normally, with the pair sharing a home-cooked meal and spending time together at his residence.

The man says he later consumed a meal and a drink before becoming unusually drowsy and falling asleep. When he woke up several hours later, he allegedly discovered that some of his belongings were missing.

Among the items he claims were stolen are:

  • A 55-inch Samsung television
  • A laptop
  • An OPPO A34 mobile phone

The incident has left him puzzled, with the complainant alleging that the items disappeared while he was asleep.

He is now appealing to members of the public, local leaders and security agencies to assist in tracing the missing property and identifying those responsible.

The claims have also sparked discussion online, with some social media users alleging similar experiences involving theft after inviting unfamiliar visitors into their homes. However, such claims remain unverified and any investigation would require evidence gathered by law enforcement authorities.

Police have not publicly commented on the matter, and the allegations remain the subject of the complainant’s account. As with all such cases, those accused are presumed innocent unless proven otherwise through due process.

The incident serves as a reminder for residents to exercise caution when hosting unfamiliar individuals and to promptly report suspected crimes to the authorities.
