Kenyan bodybuilder Gachau has revealed that he earned a total of KSh650,000 from participating in the Vurugu 2 boxing event, describing it as the highest amount he has ever received in his sporting career.

According to him, the earnings from the fight surpassed anything he has previously made as a bodybuilder, marking a major financial milestone for him.

Gachau further disclosed that the total package included a KSh50,000 bonus awarded by media personality and event organizer Oga Obinna.

He said the bonus was offered in recognition of his participation, which he noted contributed to the overall success and entertainment value of the event, regardless of the fight’s outcome.

The revelation has drawn attention online, with fans reacting to the growing trend of crossover events between bodybuilding, influencer culture, and boxing exhibitions in Kenya’s entertainment and sports scene.
