Car enthusiast Khalif Cairo has opened up about the lessons he learned from the public scandal that thrust him into the spotlight, saying the experience humbled him and strengthened his faith in God.
Speaking about the difficult period, Khalif admitted that he had become prideful because of the wealth and success he had achieved, believing he was beyond facing such challenges.
He said the ordeal forced him to confront his attitude toward money, success and faith.
According to Khalif, one of the biggest mistakes he made was believing that his financial success made him untouchable.
He also revealed that, during the height of the crisis, he found himself questioning God instead of trusting Him.
Khalif said he struggled to understand why he was going through hardship despite faithfully giving large tithes.
Reflecting on the experience, he acknowledged that he had placed too much confidence in his wealth and in the people around him rather than depending on God.
He described the season as a turning point that completely changed his outlook on life.
According to Khalif, the challenges taught him that material possessions and human relationships can fail, but faith remains constant.
“When life falls apart, the only one who can truly help you is God, not human beings,” he said.
He noted that the painful experience ultimately reshaped his priorities, leaving him with a renewed sense of humility and a deeper reliance on God.
