Police have intercepted two Nissan vans and a Toyota Voxy at Tosha Filling Station along the Kisumu–Nairobi Highway, arresting 15 suspects and recovering several crude weapons.
According to preliminary reports, the vehicles were stopped during an operation as the occupants were reportedly travelling towards Homa Bay.

Police officers arrested all 15 suspects found in the vehicles and recovered several crude weapons during the operation.
The interception comes amid heightened political tensions in Homa Bay, where a Linda Mwananchi rally is scheduled to take place.
Authorities are expected to question the suspects to establish their identities, their intended destination and the purpose of the weapons found in their possession.
