A man died by suicide after jumping into a biogas pit in Kanjuku village, Githunguri, Kiambu County.

The casual laborer is said to have left a suicide note in his pocket before dying by suicide, police said.

Police said they found the note in the pockets after removing the body from the pit and moved it to the mortuary.

And two men died by suicide in Kiambu County in such increasing incidents.

The first incident was reported in the Darasha area, Juja where the body of Samuel Karanja Kuria aged 36 years old was found dangling from the roof rafters of his sitting room, with a rope tied around the neck.

In Thika Town, the body of an unknown male adult was found hanging on a tree.

The motives of the incidents are yet to be known.
