Australian actor and Hollywood star Chris Hemsworth, best known for playing the character Thor in the Marvel Cinematic Universe shared photos of him and his family enjoying their trip to Kenya.

Calling it “one of the most memorable trips” the actor thanked the travel company who planned the trip.

“One of the most memorable trips to Kenya my family and I have ever had. Thank you to Africa Born for taking care of us!” he said.

In one image the 39-year-old actor showed off his muscles in a tank top as he posed in a field with some handsome camels.

Chris Hemsworth is in the country at a time when many international stars are choosing Kenya as a tourist destination.

Other notable figures who have visited the country include retired Togolese footballer Emmanuel Adebayor, American businessman Bill Gates, legendary American singer Madonna, Game of Thrones actor Jaime Lannister, German and Portuguese football managers Thomas Tuchel and Jose Mourinho, British Billionaire Richard Branson and Africa’s richest man Aliko Dangote.
