Rapper KRG the Don has finally met his alleged daughter after over a month of back and forth between him and his alleged baby mama. The two met on Sunday where the rapper told the girl that he was too young to be his father on the year he is alleged to have fathered her.
The young lady named Yvonne Njoki has been claiming that KRG is her biological dad and that she was born in 2002. The two met on Sunday, May 28, and YouTuber Nicholas Kioko was there to record their conversation.
According to KRG, Yvonne claimed to be her father in a WhatsApp text message in 2022. He did, however, confirm that he had blocked her at the time.
At their encounter, Yvonne emphasized her conviction that KRG is her biological father and asked him to accept this without requiring a DNA test.
“I’m very delighted to meet Yvonne. She texted me on WhatsApp last year that I’m her dad and I just blocked her,” KRG said.
Yvonne was convinced that the outspoken singer is her real dad. “I feel glad to see you. As I was told by Mum, I believe you are my father. And if you are indeed my biological dad, then you better accept it as soon as possible. Don’t wait for a DNA test to prove,” Yvonne said.
KRG calmly explained to Yvonne that he couldn’t have fathered her in 2003 because he was still a minor.
He presented her with throwback images to prove that he was too young to be her biological father.
“I just don’t want to be insensitive in this matter because you are a kid but I’m very sure I’m not your dad. Your mum said we met in 2002 when I used to work in the Gikomba market. In 2002, I was a kid. I was only 11 years old. I was in Class Seven,” KRG said.
KRG is willing to do a DNA test to confirm whether Njoki is indeed his daughter.
“Kama mtoto ni wangu ya ukweli, nitaomba msamaha mbele ya kila mtu and I will take full responsibility as the father,” said KRG last week.
Should the DNA test confirm his paternity, KRG vowed to celebrate the young girl and make up for the years she had endured without him.
“If she is truly mine… we will hold a grand celebration to honour her and acknowledge the suffering she has experienced. Itabidi tumfanyie sherehe kubwa ya kumkaribisha kwa familia,” he said.
