In the latest Football Kenya Federation (FKF) league fixtures, Shabana FC faced yet another disappointment as they suffered a 1-0 defeat at home against Kariobangi Sharks at the Raila Odinga Stadium in Homa Bay.
The closely contested match saw Shabana attempting to score, with Ezekiel Omuri’s effort on the 72nd minute and a missed opportunity by Vincent Nyabuto on the 81st minute.
However, the visitors, Kariobangi Sharks, managed to secure a late goal, leaving Shabana fans disheartened.
Meanwhile, at Kasarani Stadium in Nairobi, AFC Leopards appeared to be on track for their first win of the season until Police FC secured a late equalizer, resulting in a 2-2 draw.
Kenneth Muguna opened the scoring for Police FC on the third minute, only for Brian Yakhama to equalize for AFC Leopards nine minutes later.
Cliff Nyakeya then gave Leopards the lead with a spot-kick, but this advantage was nullified in the sixth minute of added time by Tosha Rashid, allowing Police to salvage a point.
In other fixtures, Tusker FC clinched a narrow 1-0 victory over Muhoroni Youth, while Bidco United emerged victorious with a 3-1 win over Talanta FC.
