US based Kenyan music promoter Bernice Saroni has publicly addressed the separation between mugithi singer Samidoh Muchoki and Edday Nderitu.

She emphatically stated that she had no involvement in the couple’s breakup. Saroni went on to assert that if anyone were to blame for Edday’s extended stay in the US, it should be nominated senator Karen Nyamu.

When asked about Edday’s decision not to return to Kenya after visiting the US, Saroni responded, “That question should be directed to Karen Nyamu because she is involved with Samidoh. Not me.”

“I want to make it clear to all Kenyans that I’m not responsible for Edith’s choice to leave Kenya and go to the US. They should address this with Karen. Please keep me out of it.”

Saroni declined to comment on whether she had discussed reconciliation between her cousin Samidoh and his wife, regarding it as a private matter she couldn’t intervene in.

She also insinuated that she had no issues with the senator, asserting that she had not wronged her in any way to warrant forgiveness.

Edday has made it clear that she was not willing to subject her children to a polygamous family dynamic, particularly with an older woman who, in her opinion, lacked moral values and respect.

Presently, Edday is in the US with their three children.
