Tanzanian singer Bernard Michael, widely known as Benpol, has embarked on a new chapter in his love life, years after a tumultuous breakup with Anerlisa Muigai, the heiress of Keroche breweries.
In a recent interview, Ben Pol introduced his new romantic interest, a German lady named Helena.
However, he chose not to divulge detailed information about her, expressing the need for more time before sharing this aspect of his life with his fans.
Helena accompanied the singer to Wasafi Records studios, where she was spotted sitting in the background before Ben Pol invited her to greet the audience. When questioned about his dating preferences, the singer neither confirmed nor denied, prompting speculation about his romantic status.
Ben Pol requested another interview to discuss his current romantic relationship, stating, “Okay, I think, out of respect for Wasafi, I will bring her on a separate day. Yes, I will bring her on another day, please. I will bring her to explain herself.”
The divorce between Anerlisa and Benpol was finalized in 2022. At the time, the Keroche heiress celebrated the official conclusion of her marriage to the Tanzanian singer by expressing gratitude to her divorce lawyers.
The former couple, who tied the knot in May 2020 during the pandemic, publicly announced their separation a few months later.
Ben Pol filed for divorce, citing irreconcilable differences. He was also quoted regretting having overlooked significant red flags during their marriage, particularly the absence of Anerlisa’s family members during their marriage.
