Police are currently detaining a 23-year-old woman in connection with allegations that she fatally stabbed her three-year-old son in Kuria, Migori County.

The devastating crime took place as the child slept, with the woman inflicting two stab wounds to the boy’s stomach, resulting in his immediate death. The lifeless body of the three-year-old was discovered on the bedroom floor.
