Police have launched investigations into the death of 26-year-old advocate Rachel Wangui Ndirangu, who died at Nairobi Hospital after falling from the third floor of Suite Life Apartments along Dennis Pritt Road.
Ndirangu reportedly sustained severe injuries after falling from the apartment during a party. She was rushed to Nairobi Hospital’s Intensive Care Unit (ICU) by three people but later succumbed to her injuries.
Three People Held as Persons of Interest
Detectives investigating the circumstances surrounding the lawyer’s death have taken Victor Mwangi, Ann Mwangi and Kelvin Kamau into custody as persons of interest.
According to investigators, officers who visited the apartment recovered several bottles of alcohol and glass items as part of the ongoing probe.
Police are working to establish what happened before Ndirangu fell from the third floor and whether anyone else was involved in the incident.
Lawyer Remembered by Colleagues
Ndirangu worked at Wanjiru Kairu & Co. Advocates alongside her sister, Loise.
Her death has sparked grief within Nairobi’s legal fraternity, with Law Society of Kenya (LSK) Nairobi Branch Chairman Eric Kivuya expressing deep sorrow following the incident.
