Citizen TV’s senior reporters, Hassan Mugambi and Chemutai Goin are set to leave Royal Media Services (RMS) at the end of the month to take up new jobs in government.

Mugambi, who is a senior crime reporter and news anchor is headed to the Defence Ministry as a communications advisor. Goin, a senior political reporter, is headed to National Assembly Speaker Moses Wetangula’s office as the principal media relations officer.

Mugambi joined RMS in September 2016 from K24, where he was a news anchor. While at Citizen, he rose through the ranks, from being a reporter to a news anchor.

Goin on the other hand, started as an intern at KTN. She then moved to Capital FM before joining Media Max and finally RMS.
