Mugithi sensation Carol Katrue has been admitted to the hospital, as revealed through her social media posts showcasing her receiving treatment while hooked up to a drip.
Contrary to her usual cheerful demeanor, Katrue appeared visibly uncomfortable and in pain in the shared photos and videos, though she did not disclose the specific cause of her illness.
This development coincides with her husband, gengetone and Mugithi artist Peter Miracle Baby, also being hospitalized since January 16, 2024, when he was rushed for urgent medical attention. Katrue previously disclosed that Miracle Baby underwent surgery due to a ruptured intestine, necessitating the use of a tube for restroom needs for a six-week period as a portion of his intestines protruded outside his body.
She further mentioned the likelihood of additional surgical procedures in the future to reposition the remaining intestines internally.
On Tuesday, February 6, Katrue shared an update indicating Miracle Baby’s forthcoming third surgery, accompanied by a heartfelt plea for prayers from their supporters. “Going for the third surgery, we need prayers,” she expressed, appealing for well-wishes for both Miracle Baby and herself during this challenging time.
