In Nyondia village, Naivasha, a tragic incident unfolded as a 19-year-old girl was arrested for the murder of a four-year-old girl, sparking outrage among the locals who attempted to take matters into their own hands before police intervened.

The teenager allegedly lured the neighbor’s girl before strangling her and dumping her lifeless body in a nearby quarry. The shocking crime prompted furious residents to ransack the suspect’s family home, resulting in its destruction, before law enforcement officers intervened to rescue both the suspect and her mother from the enraged mob.

Disturbingly, it has emerged that this is not the first time the teenager has been involved in such violent behavior. There are allegations that she had previously attempted to strangle another minor, although that incident was reportedly resolved between the families involved.

Naivasha OCPD Stephen Kirui confirmed that both the teenager and her mother have provided statements to aid in the ongoing investigation. Meanwhile, the body of the young victim has been recovered from a flooded section of the quarry where she was last seen with the suspect.

“We are still investigating the motive behind this bizarre murder, and the suspect will definitely be charged in court with murder,” stated OCPD Kirui
