KPLC announces scheduled Saturday power outages in 5 counties

Kenya Power has announced scheduled power interruptions in five counties on Saturday. The affected areas include Nairobi, Trans Nzoia, Bungoma, Lamu, and Tana River. The interruptions will occur at various times throughout the day.

In Nairobi, power interruptions are scheduled from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm. Affected areas include Ruai Shopping Center, Ruai Police, Ruai DC, Githunguri, Block 10, Makongeni, Stage 26, Twin Bird, Kipawa, Made in the Streets, Kingoris, Kamulu, Reflector, Brook Shine, Ngondu, Athi Primary, and nearby customers.

Trans Nzoia will also experience interruptions from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm in select areas including Kipsingori Primary School, Kaplamai among others.

In Lamu County, power interruptions are expected from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, covering the entire Lamu Island and Mokowe.

Hola Town, Masalani Town, and Bura Town in Tana River County will also experience interruptions from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm.

Bungoma will have interruptions in specific areas from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm, including Webuye Town, Webuye Law Courts, Webuye Sub County Hospital, Webuye Police, Webuye Weighbridge, and Webuye County Hospital, among others.
