The Palestinian death toll in the Gaza Strip from ongoing Israeli attacks has risen to 34,183, the Hamas-run Health Ministry said on Tuesday.

The ministry said in a press statement that the Israeli army killed 32 Palestinians and wounded 59 others during the past 24 hours, bringing the total death toll to 34,183 and injuries to 77,143, since the Israel-Hamas conflict broke out on Oct. 7, 2023.

Meanwhile, the Israeli army spokesman Avichay Adraee said that the army launched a number of airstrikes overnight, destructing two Hamas sites in the southern Gaza Strip.

He added that the sites were targeted before missiles were launched from them towards Israeli territory.

The spokesman noted that the army destroyed about 25 targets throughout the Gaza Strip, including personnel, military buildings, observation points, and launching sites, among other military infrastructure.

In addition, the Al-Quds Brigades, the military wing of the Islamic Jihad Movement, announced in a statement that its members fire rockets toward southern Israel.

At the same time, fierce clashes continued between Palestinian factions and the Israeli army for the second day in several border areas in the northern Gaza Strip.

The Al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of Hamas, announced in statements that its members in the northeastern Beit Hanoun city “were able to snipe an Israeli soldier,” targeted a military bulldozer, and destroyed a gathering of Israeli forces with mortar shells.

Israel has been launching a large-scale offensive against Hamas in the Gaza Strip to retaliate against a Hamas rampage through the southern Israeli border last October, during which about 1,200 people were killed and more than 200 were taken hostage.
