Radio Maisha, owned by the Standard Group, poached Milele FM’s renowned presenter, Chris The Bass.
Chris is set to join Radio Maisha’s breakfast show starting Monday, April 22, 2024. He will co-host alongside Shuga Boy and Zully, who have been the mainstays of the morning show for quite some time now.
Zully stepped in to replace Emmanuel Mwashumbe when he departed for Radio 47 a few months ago.
Mwashumbe, now at Radio 47, teamed up with Chris Da Bass’s former boss, Alex Mwakideu, for the morning show.
An ecstatic Chris took to his social media platforms to share the news of his move to Radio Maisha, promising to reconnect with his fans come Monday.
“Tuko Mbele Pamoja … Tupatane Kesho 6AM Pale @radiomaisha.ke UNABISHAAAAA!!!!!!,” Chris enthusiastically announced.
After five remarkable years, Chris bid farewell to Milele FM, expressing gratitude for the incredible journey.

Formerly, Chris co-hosted the evening drive at Milele FM alongside MCA Tricky.
