Tiwa Savage, the Nigerian multi-award-winning recording artist, has expressed admiration for fellow artists Simi Bolatito and Adekunle Gold for their beautiful relationship.
The 43-year-old Afrobeats sensation praised the couple, noting that their love for each other runs so deep that spending time with Simi made her feel a tinge of regret about her single status.
Tiwa lauded the couple, highlighting that despite being married for close to a decade, they still exhibit a kind of purple love that makes them look like a teenage couple just starting to date.
In a social media post, the ‘Stamina’ hitmaker, who recently collaborated with Simi on their new song “Men Are Crazy,” shared how Adekunle Gold would frequently check on his wife while they were on set, making Tiwa realize how single she really was.
“While on set with Simi, I had to ask her when she met Adekunle Gold again. Coz AG kept calling & checking on her every now and then. Like 10 times in 10 minutes hahaha. Their love is still burning fresh like they started just yesterday. Omo, na that day single life pain me…” Tiwa Savage wrote as she commended the couple.
In an interview with Kiss FM two years ago, Adekunle Gold noted that being best friends is what keeps their marriage successful.
“We are fans of each other, we support each other, we are the best versions of ourselves. We root for each other, and that is how it should be done,” the ‘Singer’ crooner said.
Simi and Adekunle Gold got married in a secret invite-only beach wedding back in 2019 and welcomed their daughter Adejare (Deja) into the world in 2020.
Their daughter was not publicly seen until May 2021 when Simi posted beautiful pictures to her Instagram.
