A man was attacked and killed by a mob in Kware, Embakasi, Nairobi, after being accused of theft.
According to police, the deceased had allegedly attempted to steal clothes from a residential apartment’s clothesline when an irate mob accosted him. He sustained severe head injuries during the attack, which led to his death.
Authorities recovered eight female underwears, a red jacket, and a t-shirt from the suspect, which have been kept as exhibits.
Investigations into the incident are ongoing as police warn against mob injustice.
