In a move set to transform global travel, Emirates and Uber have announced a landmark strategic partnership aimed at enhancing the end-to-end journey for millions of travelers.

Signed through a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), the alliance seeks to integrate flight and ride services for a more seamless, rewarding, and tech-enabled experience.

“Emirates is excited to join forces with Uber as part of our commitment to delivering seamless travel experiences,” said Adnan Kazim, Emirates’ Deputy President and Chief Commercial Officer.

Integrated Booking and Seamless Airport Transfers

One of the headline initiatives under the partnership includes the integration of Uber Ride Vouchers into flight bookings, enabling Emirates passengers to easily book airport transfers or in-city rides. Select customers flying with Emirates may soon enjoy complimentary or discounted Uber rides to and from the airport, aligning with the airline’s commitment to premium service delivery.

Passengers booking through Emirates.com will eventually be able to combine their flight and ground transport into a single, user-friendly transaction.

Loyalty Rewards for Skywards Members

Frequent flyers enrolled in Emirates Skywards, the airline’s award-winning loyalty program, are also in for a major boost. The partnership will allow Skywards members in the UAE to:

  • Earn Miles on Uber rides
  • Redeem Miles for Uber credits or vouchers

This loyalty integration will roll out in select cities within Emirates’ global network. Uber users and Skywards members alike stand to benefit from enhanced earning and redemption opportunities.

Uber’s Role in Emirates Courier Express

Beyond passenger services, the partnership also stretches into logistics. Emirates Courier Express will explore Last Mile delivery solutions using Uber’s vast tech and courier network. This could mean faster, more efficient delivery services powered by Uber’s real-time logistics platform—offering an exciting new frontier for Emirates’ cargo and express operations.

Marketing Campaigns and Future Rollouts

Both companies plan to jointly market the rollout of these services across Emirates’ global network. Expect promotions across digital platforms, travel hubs, and in-app features.

Speaking on the partnership, Anabel Diaz Calderon, Vice President and Head of EMEA Mobility at Uber, said:

“We’re thrilled to partner with Emirates, a global leader in aviation, to shape the future of travel.”
